Continuing with its spree of expansions, Google has extended its News & Weather app to the Apple users. The free application can be downloaded on iPod touch, iPhone and iPad by sparing 10MB storage space.

According to the report, the app will be compatible with the devices running on iOS 7 or above. Google claims that the app has been designed especially for iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Reportedly the app also sports a sign-in option that further allows the users to customize their choice and get personalized news from over 65,000 publications.

While Apple devices already feature popular Google apps including Chrome, YouTube, Gmail, Google+, Google Drive, Google Maps and a few others, the new app will be an addition to the existing line-up.
